AI consulting for Utah businesses

IronGate Consulting helps business owners put AI to work in everyday operations. We start with your team's repeated tasks and slow handoffs, identify where a change would help, and build and teach the tools when there is a fit.

We work on-site in Davis, Salt Lake, and Utah counties, and online with businesses elsewhere. IronGate was founded by Doyle Dockstader, a business operator who brings experience in process improvement and team adoption to AI implementation.

Where AI can help your team

These are the kinds of work we examine during an assessment. The right solution depends on how your business operates and what your existing systems can support.

  • Repeated office work: drafting follow-up emails, revising quotes, and preparing recurring reports.
  • Documents: finding and reviewing information in PDFs, contracts, and invoices, with people checking the output where accuracy matters.
  • Customer questions and follow-up: understanding which requests repeat and where calls or past customers get missed.
  • Handoffs between systems: identifying where people retype information or manually move it from one team to another.
  • Team adoption: making tools understandable and useful to the people expected to use them.

How an engagement works

1. Assess the work

Start with a complimentary 90-minute AI assessment. We learn how the business runs and where the team loses time. Buying another subscription is not a prerequisite.

2. Decide what is worth doing

Within 48 hours, you receive a written plan ranked by priority: what to fix first, what to ignore, and what it would take. You keep the plan whether or not you hire us.

3. Build and make it stick

If there is a fit, implementation is quoted as a separate engagement. We build the tools, train the team, and improve the work until it becomes part of how they operate.

A practical example: IronQuote

IronQuote is a quoting tool that sales reps use in the field. It researches the company before a visit and brings useful information to the rep. It illustrates the kind of specific operational problem we build around, rather than asking a team to figure out a general AI tool on its own.

Is AI consulting right for your business?

An assessment is useful when you can point to repeated work, a slow handoff, or a tool the team is paying for but not using. You do not need a technical team or a finished specification. Bring a clear example of the work you want to improve.

What does it cost?

The initial assessment is complimentary. Implementation is a separate engagement, quoted after the assessment if there is a fit. The scope depends on the work identified.
